Reverend Sean M. Hogan, C.S.Sp.

Born at Ballingarry, Co. Limerick, Ireland, Father Hogan was raised in a family of eight. His family was in business-stores, cattle dealing and farming.

Educated at Rockwell College, Tipperary, he entered the Holy Ghost Fathers at Kilshane Novitiate, Tipperary, Ireland in September 1959. He began his Philosophy Studies at Holy Ghost College, Dublin, in 1960. He was appointed to teach at Blackrock College, Dublin in September 1962.

In September 1964, he began his Theology Studies at Holy Ghost College, Dublin, and was ordained to the Priesthood in September 1967.
