In 1987, he made the transition from
the public sector to higher education finance when
he became the Budget Director at Carnegie Mellon
where he has also taught Accounting. At the end
of 1987, he assumed the position of Director of
Business Services and in 1990 attained the position
of Associate Vice President for Business Affairs
and University Planning at Carnegie Mellon.
Later in 1990, Steve became the Associate Vice President
® Chief Finance Officer for the Main Campus of Georgetown
University. He served in this position for three
years after which he assumed the position of Vice
President for Finance and Administration at Gannon
University in Erie, PA. He remained at Gannon until
he joined Duquesne as its new Vice President for
Management and Business in July of 2002. Steve is
glad to be back home in Pittsburgh with his family. |
